DuoBlue is a sterile solution containing 0.05% Brilliant Blue G and 0.10% trypan blue. This product is used as an aid in ophthalmic surgical procedures to stain membranes, thereby making them visible, facilitating their removal and improving surgical time and efficacy.
Indication:
- Temporary staining of both the epiretinal membrane (ERM) and internal limiting membrane (ILM) during vitreoretinal procedures.
- Temporary staining of the anterior lens capsule during cataract surgery.
Presentation and packaging:
- Supplied prefilled in a glass syringe.
- Volume: 1 ml
- Available as 1 syringe per box or 10 syringes per box
The product is intended to be used by healthcare professionals such as ophthalmic surgeons in surgically invasive procedures within the eye. Ophthalmic dyes are not intended for long term use and are used intraoperatively only.
